The Committee on Public Health upholds the draft law on holding parliamentary hearings entitled “Education, health care and social insurance for children with autism spectrum disorder: problems and ways to solve them” (April 2, 2014)

Discussing the draft resolution (Reg. No. 3314), the Committee members stressed that holding of such hearings is stipulated by the necessity to form the respective nationwide policy and establish a comprehensive and integrated system of help to children with autism spectrum disorder in order to secure implementation of their constitutional rights.

It was noted that right and timely approach allows fully integrate the vast majority of such children into the circle of their peers fro further socialization and education.
